After President Donald Trump helped incite the mob that took over the U.S. Capitol Wednesday, prominent Democratic and Republican lawmakers suggested that Cabinet officials should invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, which would remove Trump from office. In-N-Out COVID-19 outbreak. As of Thursday morning, 145 Colorado employees of the burger chain, which recently opened locations in Aurora and Colorado Springs, have tested positive for COVID-19. Despite the size of the outbreak, both locations remain open. (Denver Post)
Pit bull adoption. On Tuesday, Gumdrop the dog became the first pit bull adopted out by the Denver Animal Shelter in more than 30 years. Mile High City voters recently overturned a ban on the breed during the November election. (Denverite)
